fers entry in the NEW YEAR.

i don't believe in resolutions cos i can't stick to them anw. HOHO. but it's still good to have a goal of the year in mind. okay, let's have a simple one then.

may yc stay motivated and optimistic throughout the year:). keep it as broad a resolution as possible so that i can fulfill it.

2008 had been a veryvery long year. quite happy to welcome 2009=). although i peeked at my modules' descriptions at ivle and felt a little disheartened, and more disheartening news may arrive after bidding ends, but STILL. no point getting hot and bothered before the semester starts. i've got to keep reminding myself to keep my aims in mind:). aja!

my 2jie took me and my mum for a buffet lunch in Swissotel Merchant Court on the fers day of 2009. YUMS. let me show you the highlight of the day- durian paste.













this was really yummy. 实实在在的榴莲肉，简直是入口即化。

the lighting was not very camera friendly, so didn't take photos of the other food. okay. yc was too busy eating^^

not a bad way to kick off the year. EATINGG. HAHA. damn. i should start exercising again.

the second day of 2009 was a nice day:). it was a bright sunny day! dhs homecoming!! after a long hiatus, dhs was finally back at our familiar tanjong rhu campus!!:). wheee. i felt high right from the start of the day. although it was rather a sleepy morning cos i haven't woken up at 6 for a LOONG time. the last time was probably the green walk we had at the southern ridges. hehe.

the new dhs campus is arnd 2.5times bigger than its original size. DAMN HUGE. it has a block C (the new block when u walk down the extended corridor from block B to block A. i named it block C.) which is 6 storeys high and has 2 lifts. didn't explore all 6 storeys, but we saw more than ten music practice rooms on the 2nd floor!











the performance was cute. as in, the performers were vcute. i feel totally overgrown as i walked up from the canteen to the hall. overheard some guy saying "So where do all the year nines go?" as we saw signs indicating where year1s-6s should go. HAHA. dhs has a rock band cca now! whoa. anw the hall itself was brimming with people, so we went up to the gallery. the gallery had the same feel. although obviously it's totally different. we got noisy noise sticks which had to be inflated like balloons. it was really fun clapping along. got pretty high:D. saw this jc student who sat on her noise stick as she sat down innocently after the national anthem. hehe. and yessss. WE SAID THE CHINESE PLEDGE.

i MISS the secondary school days.













although my 4L classroom is GONE. (it turned into some career guidance room.)
although my KOI POND is GONE.
although my pristine white spiral staircase transformed into naseous blue spiral.
although my library changed into the staffroom.
although my school building looks like a primary school building (with the colours, albeit the size looks like a yaa sec+jc school).

but still.

dhs is dhs. the old homely feeling came back in a rush as i saw the school compound as 158 turned at the traffic junction and stopped at the dhs stop. wwwwah.

i love dhs:D.

i want to go back to dhs again. anyone wants to go back with me?:).

i want to eat the fried wantons.

there yc goes again. thinking about food ALL the time.

ohyes the kallang stadium kfc is still there. with its refillable drinks! the ceiling really looks vcui. the mac oppositie looks vnew with new renovations lor. poor kfc.

on the third day of jan, i gave tuition to my three lovables. which reminds me. i got to get new assessment books soon! my lovables wont be seeing me after april. i hope their mums will be able to get a better tuition teacher after me:D.

after dinner, i watched and watched and watche my dvd. bought another korean drama-
내생애 마지막 스캔들 (the last scandal of my life).













haven't finished the show yet. bought it cos it was supposed to be a comedy. it is not as engaging as on air, but it got more exciting towards the middle. the male lead plays this mega korean star, he isn't adorable, but he grows on you. haha. as for the female lead, she is a vstrong woman in her forties, who believes strongly in keeping her family togther. anyway, they were first loves 20 years ago, and their lives became interwined again by chance 20 years later. the female lead was one of the korean stars who committed suicide in 2008, so this was her last drama.

on the fourth day of 2009, i went for 五月天[真正的快乐]新歌飙唱会~













IT WAS SUPER HIGH. seriously. HAHA. really many many thnks to hc who asked me to go to the concert, and queued for 2hours to exchange the tickets! let's go to mayday's concert together again! maybe in 2010, when you come back to singapore for good:). sadd i will be in nanjing during august, if not can catch their concert again which is on aug29.












the concert was free, and it was at indoor stadium's stadium green (which is actually an open area which can accommodate about 6500 standing people). BUT. it was totally a blast. the whole performance was 2h+, with 叮当's appearance in the middle, thereby she sang 3 songs. they encored twice!! they sang old songs as well:). we were in the middle of the 6000+ strong crowd, and our view was not bad:). and the weather was great:). dark clouds loomed in the skies while we were queuing outside the stadium before the concert, but not one drop of rain fell throughout the concert. in fact, there was a cool breeeze. 但是现场的气氛沸腾得不得了。不过一会儿，大家都汗流浃背了。嘿嘿。












the whole crowd was screaming, cheering, singing along, jumping, waving, totally immersed in every song they performed:DD. there were 2 screens at each side of the stage, and there were lyrics too! but the words were quite small and we were blocked by some people in front. but the whole experience was wonderful. the highness was beyond description:).












our eardrums were already bursting after 2 songs. ahhaha. 五月天歌迷的威力不是盖的 we were damn high after the whole concert and we bought their shirt!! HAHA.

on the fifth day of 2009, went to K with gya at topone. i felt really damn tired after mayday's concert (2h+ of screaming). 原本是打算到那里当布景好了。但是，还是好想唱歌，所以还是麦克风不离手=p. 好啦，谢谢你们忍耐我的杀鸡似的声音：）。不对，是天籁之音OK.
