not feeling as upbeat as my greeting appears to be. don't hv anything particular in mind to blog.. perhaps still feeling lethargic.

camp was wellls, camp. hahah. it got pretty emo on the 5th day. really quite sad seeing the house ics breaking down during their speeches. hmmmms. it's just the end of one camp o!! haha. no idea why i'm saying this when i doubt any of them rmbs me and they won't be seeing this anyhow.. nevertheless.. all their brave siao efforts to build house spirit, boost house morales and tireless cheering.. wwwah. vv impressive. made me ponder. did i regret missing the last arts camp? but time once lost is just gone~ so why regret(:. had our share (nvm fair or not) of shit, tired bodies, tensed emotions, overstretched mental rubberbands, sad food.. gained some experience too ba. and had fun siao times too and laughter. to do more justice to awesome logteam, food did improve though i couldn't stop obsessing about food after camp and hv been eating nonstop. and erms. i got one best friend (HAHA), 6 great working partners (gogo admin&pr team), met alot of nicenice ppl from log&programmes. we just got more and more high when our bodies got more and more tireddd. began singing songs, doing weird actions, laugh n laugh for no reasons, held drawing competitions on sand.. yeahman. perhaps we might not see each other in school when term starts.. or maybe our faces will fade and blur in one another's memories.. but stilllll. memories are keepsakes.

anww. my relatives from canada came to visit tdy. i felt underachieved. lolll. cos my 3 cousins were all accomplished in one way or other. btw they are all younger than me. especially the 2nd cousin. he jointed his first piano competition and although he didn't win, one of the judges handpicked him to be his/her disciple and offered him a scholarship! like woooow.

my brain storage space is like short span. have i blogged about narnia movie trip @ downtown's cathay? (checks prev entry) okay it was like one short line abt pls go watch narnia. yess i think narnia: prince caspian is btr than the first one!=). i liked the noble mouse! damn cutee. hahaha. okay he isn't cute. he is chivalrous, brave and yeahh. lol. and they hv lecture tables in the theatres for you to put your popcorn,nachos and whatnots(:. which is pretty handy n cool.

on thurs, went for dinner with mum,bro&wife at a korean restaurant:). Hyang-To-Gol 향 토 골
restaurant, located in Amara Hotel.

















the side dishes came shortly we got seated. a total of TEN different side dishes, with yellow beansprouts, kimchi(!), potato salad, seaweed, ikan bilis, wasabi cucumber, shitake mushrooms etcetc. we were saying we could just order bowls of rice to go with the side dishes:p.


















ginseng chicken soup. the chicken was stuffed with glutinous rice (thereby much of it melted into the soup).



















spicy fried rice cakes!!! ahhhh. these rice cakes were reallllly great. but don't try it if you don't hv persevering incisors and molars=p. the rice cakes were vvv chewy. sauce wasn't spicy at all despite its chilliredhot look. but still very much delish and savoury. yummms.

















seafood and spring onion pancake~ crispy on the exterior and vv yummmy. couldn't taste any seafood bits in the pancake tho! but plain as it looks in the photo, the taste is wonderful. the crisp outer layer, the dancing of flour,spring onion and other ingredients in your mouth. mmmmmmmm~



















another dish which loooks chillliredhot. but we were deceived again. haha. kimchi tofu with pork (三層肉kind).. the fatty pork tasted like bacon! (okkay. bacon is pork too hmmm). but i still rejected the oils bit of the pork although the lean part was yummmy. the kimchi!!!! sour&spicy. wooots. i'm beginning to love kimchi more and more.

just these four main dishes and ten side dishes and we KO-ed without desserts! my stomach was fillled to the very brim. service was good as they remained attentive (refilling empty teacups, prompt service) even as a crowd gathered in the restaurant.

pricey place ba.. for poor students hehe.. but i want to return to the restaurant for MEAT! hahah. saw many tables eating grilled meat which were sizzling hot. i want to eat the grilled meat wrapped in vege! like how they eat in korean dramas:DD.

andd i'm totally a blur goondu. when i walk, i just look straight, my eyes intent on my destination. and i'll be oblivious to my nearest surroundings. (unless i'm like talking to the people who are walking with me) like on our way to the amara hotel from tanjong pagar mrt station, my mum and bro saw 2 interesting sights which i just passed by happily. first, it was this tall wellgroomed guy who dressed very well for an average Singaporean guy. yarrhh. i didn't see him bt according to my mum and bro, the guy looked like a model/artiste. greatt. later on, as we went up the lift from ground floor to 2nd floor in the hotel, they spotted a gay couple who were in the very same lift. apparently the older guy had his arm around the waist around the younger guy whilst they stood in the lift. right before my eyes bt i didn't see!!

and i got stupidly lost ytd. walking about in one big round around tampines blk201 area. BLEARGH. i don't know what possessed me to go walk into the maze of HDB flats when i was trying to walk from the 12bus stop opp blk201 to the nxt 12bus stop at simei area, metta school's bus stop. so i ended up calling for help from ly n choccy and took a bus bck to blk201._. i don't know why but i was so sure that i was in the correct direction until i saw tampines mart. i was trying to get from bedok to ex po. which i could hv taken 24 (i hadn't realised then). but i attempted to tk 9 and transfer to 12. and winded up lost. but still not late for the ex po job briefing. we were told to arrive at 1.30pm and the briefing started at 2.45pm. and the person-in-charge started ratttling off every word on every pg of the set of notes that were handed out to us. how great. when the briefing ended at 4plus, went home to take the irritating regforms (i'd forgotten to bring out when i went out fr morning tuition) and headed to rafflescity starbucks. on the way there i realised i missed out another pile of regforms. mad day.

i survived with chaotah-ed feet, a little bit redder forearms, a red nose, new pimples, pending sore throat, lactic acidic calves, new faces which in my ever optimistic view will just evolve into acquaintances-whom-you-say-hi-to-to-make-yourself-look-popular (HAHA) in the uni social circle. not that the people weren't nice. there were really vnice people(:. we may be (very)different in certain ways bt i appreciate their sincerity and help and trust.

busybusy june.

makes me want to retreat into the little shell with security, peace and quiet AND time.

but i guess. it's time to make some changes. albeit small ones.

i don't want to get overdose of the UV rays and die from absorbing the harmful rays.

recently changed my mind about being tan. though i still think that having a darker, sportier-looking skin colour is attractive. but not in the long run ba. my skin is not the best skin type on earth.

i speak of my skin as if i am a snake who peels its skin off regularly.

i got so excited seeing a Bminus for the ch2141 that i jumped on my mum (while she was taking her afternoon nap. i swear i didn't know she'd fallen asleep) and announced to her excitedly that i did not fail that superduperdisgustingbeyonddescribablewords module.

giddy with euphoria (雖然是很沒有出息的快樂）that i almost forgot to see my other 4 modules.

grades weren't fantastic bt i guess, just by comparing with myself, overall i felt satisfied. hmmmms.

haven't been blogging cos been seriously playing games. hahaha. life is really mundane without serious business to do. not that i'm complaining~ still kinda of enjoying the extra free time i hv on my hands.. yupp. yc is lazy to her very bones.

wellls, haven't been that idle! went to watch Accuracy of Death with gya last tues. takeshi kaneshiro!! his charm increases exponentially with his age. lol. or maybe i didn't appreciate him in those earlier days of my primary6 days when everyone else was falling head over heels with him. hahah. yarr his character's obsession with music (muzike- as he pronounced it hee) was quite cute. and we loved his corny "oh-oh-oh" before he fell onto the floor along with the chair which he was bound to. haha.. couldn't stop laughing.

the cathay is a nice place to watch movies(:. comfortable seats. bt there was this menacing pair of legs behind us, propped up on the chair near my head. haha. the considerateness of people these days~_~. and i like early shows too. feels like we own the place=p.

anddddd we finally had our long awaited mahjong session on thurs. haha. i haven't seen mahjong tiles in a while and in the end i lost the most sobb. cos our dear ms li won 5 tais and i was the one who fed her the winning tile. wonderfuul~ on a lighter note and moneytalk aside, we shld hv more get together sessions like these alr((:. blearggh. chiagu!!!!!!!! don't grow roots in nanjing and hurrrrrrrrry come bck.

and yeaaahmien. ate stingray and chicken wings at blk85 with ky. woots. i lovve stingray and the chilli. bt my chilli tolerance has gone down. haha.. cos mum can't take spicy food nw so we cut down quite abit on chilli intake.. hehe. nvvm. less chilli is good fr complexion(:
