BOO~

my stomach is rumbling. not the i'm-hungry-feed-me-right-NOW rumble. rather, it's there's-alot-of-gas-inside. ohh crap. nvm. this is soo valid a reason for me to stay longer online cos i can't concentrate on my socie readings. DAMN the socie readings with pages of chunks of paragraphs of words which i don't recognise. not that i have the option to not look at them cos there is nothing else to read. i tell you. gems are the most crappy modules around. and i'm far too distracted to sit down quietly to absorb. BAHH.

ONE MORE to go.

anyway, i was too happy to finish wenxue shi that i didn't really bother about whether i'd done the paper well or not. seriously. i just felt vvrelieved. i felt like digging a hole after the2141 last sem so i guess this says something about lamp's exam. his mcqs were very irritating though. and he kept walking up and down during the exam. hahah. nevertheless. i enjoyed the module throughout the sem ba:).

i guess i felt happier this sem. felt busier although i didn't attempt to drive myself crazy by taking more than five modules. it was all korean's doing but i reallly loved korean:D. whee. i hope nobody jacks up the bidding points again nxt sem. those yr4s shouldn't be able to bid for the module ba. hurhur. and i don't understand why the module preference exercise is here again. and i had friends planning for sem2 modules somewhere in week10><. 需要那麽緊張嗎。好啦。是我沒有那種積極向上的精神。but i can't really plan what modules to take. it depends on whether i get my SEP. and they said they will send out emails in end nov. isn't 28th nov counted as end nov? I WANT TO GO ON EXCHANGE.

though i can start thinking about which breadth module to take. but crossing out engin, biz, computing, pure math mod, chem mod, bio mod... hmmm. how many more options am i left with? aha. ermms. physics? oh bt that will be my sci gem. there's stats too. but WELLS. i think i want to settle on my major mods first. stats will definitely suck up quite alot of my time.

wow i just saw that chinese philosophy module is an non-examinable exam.

i've been planning my outings after exams. MUHA. my days are almost all filled up from the 2nd.

took 30 after translation exam ytd since we were already at KR hall. and we went to eat LOR MEE at old airport road. aahhh:). i love the lor mee with the abundant ingredients and gravy. the bus journey brought back some memories. i rmbed vividly somewhere in sec3 i used to dash out of the classroom once the last bell rang and chionged for the first no.30 which always came at around 1.40pm at the bus stop (which was one bus stop away from dhs). i can't rmb why i had been in such a mad rush. lol. and how come school ended so early in sec3 days? weird. hehe. had this warm feeling being near the dhs campus:). they are moving back soon! 2009 is coming in almost a month's time. the new campus is HUGE. it's like 2.5times bigger than the old one. then i was reminded of the times in sec1/2 when i would tk bus12 with cds mates after xiju. and took 30 with pohpoh and cloudy to and fro from school on sat mornings for dance/wenxue/xiju. and kampong arang's cheng teng. the kfc with its free refill drinks. there are just too many fond memories from sec sch days:D.

i haven't been a good girl, staying away from lappie and telly. contrary to that, i've been mixing around quite abit with the above mentioned fellows. aha. but i don't spend hours at pet soc, just some time to get the daily visiting money.

and i'm getting increasingly irritated with this guy who wrote this book with a red cover. my brain felt saturated ytd. but it wasn't overflowing with organised information. just bits and pieces of random phrases and words.

i do feel happier reading the red book than the stack of notes for history last sem. it's just that i've been facing the book for eight days in a row and it's getting a little nauseating. not like i have many more days with it. actually, it's only one more day with it. SO. perseverance.

it's 4.42am and i'm here, still typing the term paper.

i started at around 12 midnight. i've written about 1000plus words, at most 1300 if you count the backspacing and retyping. oh man. i'm such a SLOW worker. i really am.

and guess what. i don't think i can finish. but it's okay. i'm supposed to type 1000 words per day since saturday, and i just crashed onto my bed on monday night, resumed typing on tuesday, skipped typing on wed cos of korean test, and technically speaking, it's still thursday and i've typed my share of 1000words. i doubt i can squeeze around 700plus more words tmr afternoon. and the whole essay still doesn't look very substantial. which means i might have to drag this thing over another weekend.

BLEARGH.

Chose to bake this cake cos the picture looked really really prettaye. I must say my final outcome looked about 50% alike. LOL. And I arranged the strawberries at the side wrongly, I only realised at the end that in the picture in the book, the berries were placed upside down.




Fluffy sponge cake.

Taste-wise, my nice family members liked it:). It was a little bit sweet though, probably cos of the sugar syrup. But with some berries being sour, it was alright that the cake was sweeter. Yummms.



Tada~~ This was the final outcome. The cream is untidily spread on though so presentation-wise, it needs IMPROVEMENT. But how do the words "Happy Birthday" look? Okay I hope^^? The random brown circle beside the strawberry was a chocolate button from marks&spencers. Put 3 actually, bt the fat berry hid it behind its huge head.



This was the nicer side view:). I was quite happy that the strawberries on the side did not fall off when I cut the cake:).


This looks abit melted cos it took us quite long to find the lighter to light the candles. Hehe.
