heyss.

yeah my last entry had became the permanent wallpaper for my blog for the past 2 weeks or so. awww.

so... goings-on in my life can be summarised into the following points:

1) went to watch F1 race (from a hotel room)
photos i took of the zooming automobiles:-

















took a video too.. there was this point of time in the final race where quite a few accidents happened, so that round was with the safety vehicles, so the cars were racing in a beeline. hehe.

2) pored over notes for midterms.

3) fell sick and began croaking like a tau sar pau+frog

4) started playing pet soc and got badly addicted

5) addiction has died off a little as i finally visited the doctor and got knocked out by my powerful drowsy medicine.

got as cat-obsessed as cloudy recently but the cats who prowl around my flat and neighbouring flats have not been appearing lately. there is this beautiful white cat which looks extraordinarily haughty and elegant. and an orange one.

just as i was thinking they haven't been appearing, when i got back late one day, a small orange cat came and stalked me. i'm alright with seeing the cats lying there peacefully or giving me sideways glances, but not very alright with them deciding to follow behind me. so i quickened my footsteps and i think the poor orange cat got the message.

talk about fickle-mindedness.

on the subject of animals, sometime last week, while i was on my way home on the mrt, at eunos, this old uncle sat beside me with a huge plastic bag. in the plastic bag was a large transparent cage and there was a colourful bird hopping about in it. the bird looked like a toy bird with its glassy looking eyes. but it looked really pretty, and its feathers were of bright vibrant colours. it kept hopping about, up and down the ends of the cage and i couldn't stop staring at it. lol. the uncle kept holding up the bag from time to time to stare at his newly purchased pet (that's my guess. or maybe he's selling it. hmm).

and my own terrapin has become huge. i was buying its terrapin food from the petshop at whitesands when i saw this tank at the counter with a lot of MINISCULE terrapins. they were like one tenth the size of my terrapin (when it first came to my house). given the current size of my terrapin, i guess those mini terrapins were about fifty times smaller. they were so mini that i didn't notice that there were quite a number of them living in the tank at first glance. they were stacked on top of one another and some could barely open their eyes. and there was one which was stuck at the side between a pipe and a rock=S. seriously tiny.

i want to bake on deepavali!! cos that's the next closest pending holiday:). cookies??

OKKAY. i think it's high time i get started on the kinship assignment for the arts gem. gems and ss shld just get struck off the university's graduating requirements.
