me bacck to blog!!

here are the photos i've been meaning to upload but too lazy to wait fr my near-extinct-56k internet connection to slowly upload the photos one by one..

meetup with 2 out of 3 other piggies last tues.. went to glass house's fish and co fr lunch:). after that we walked arnd plaza sing and walked to smu. the rain poured on our way to smu. so we braved the rain and finally reached smu (with drenched jeans). smu is not like a school. it has this new smell and it feels more like a shopping centre. haha. compared to our F A S "abandoned factory" look. sigh~

okie here's our lunch!


















first is my black pepper stingray. it was deliiiicious. there was alot of stingray meat in that large piece. the sauce was great considering the fact tt i don't really like pepper.

went shopping w sheehwee last wed.. walked about far east and taka and got really tired twds the end. haha.. and we stared at the nice icecream and vowed to eat it nxt time we visit taka:)

went out w my 2jie and mum fr lunch last thurs.. it was a birthday lunch fr my mum.. lunch at shashlik restaurant (russian food) at far east shopping centre (the more ulu and lkk one). the highlight of the day was the dessert. tada! banana flambe.



















it was damn exciting when they served the dessert. one of the lady waiters specialised in preparing this dessert right before the customers.. ya so she peeled the banana, sliced it and fried it a little in a small pan with some sauce which looked like caramel plus product X, Y, Z. haha. then she splashed some wine into the pan and flames erupted from the pan!! ahhaha. everyone else in the restaurant turned to look at our dessert. after the flames subsided she transferred the banana plus sauce onto a plate and scooped one scoop of vanilla icecream and put it in the middle of the plate.

it was heavenly.

the cold icecream plus the hot sauce plus the taste of the wine and yes the bananas. bananas aren't my favourite kind of thing but yarr this dessert roccckks. i will visit the restaurant again fr the DESSERT. WARHHHRHHRH.

our main courses were yummy too bt the dessert stole the limelight away. hehe.

went to watch theatresports competition w ky and vann last friday. it was alot of fun=). haha i liked this handclapper thing they gave us..


























the idea of this competition was to merge drama with sports.. it was an impromptu kind of competition and the whole atmosphere was very high. the audience could participate as well, by suggesting roles fr the competitors to act and setting. but quite sad cos the teams we rooted fr did not win:(..
