heya..
today isn't friday yet had this strange sudden feeling it was friday again. the week hadn't been so hectic that i was just looking forward to friday.. how many fridays have i gone through since the semester started? it hasn't been long since i officially started uni life, but the sem is coming to an end soon with the finals coming up late nov. university semesters really seem pretty short. there are so many things to complete within 4-5months. i hadn't experienced really packed times yet, with project or assignment deadlines up to my neck, or many things to juggle at the same time, but i guess i've still somehow managed to procrastinate quite a number of things.
readings for one thing.
and one small term paper is enough to drive me crazy. how long ago did i receive the question for the chinese studies term paper? quite some time ago. tried hard to digest the reading material given and started typing some rubbish last friday. boooo. that's what i've accomplished so far. 1608 rubbish words. cos looking back at what i've typed, it look utterly unpresentable. lol. the first paragraph is important, isn't it? first impression counts.
but i can predict all these paranoic thoughts about whether the term paper looks fine will be gone once the deadline looms nearer and nearer, and the only thought left will be shit i want to finish the goddamned paper. on the other hand.. i want this paper to turn out OKAY.
okay is such a general term.
what is okay to me now may not be okay to me when i get the paper back and
compare with other pple's grades.
why do we do this? why do we love to compare?
just what IS the point.
okay now is the best part of my rambles.
listing the unfinished and procrastinated:
1) chinese studies term paper
2) sociology term paper (qn coming up tmr)
3) history tutorial preparations
4) history readings (all the way from lecture 4 to lecture 9)
5) econs textbook (macro readings)
6) soci tb chps7, 12.

watched NUS piano ensemble's concert ytd to show support fr yt. she performed a duet with another girl, and her part of the duet was at the high notes part of the piano. eh gurl i wonder how you read the score=p. come to think of it, they probably put those 8ve signs instead of writing all those impossibly high notes. haa. it's just yc displaying her stupidity as usual. anyway those notes were really a biiiit high. there was this performance by a guest performer and whoaa, she played a chopin piece with only ONE hand. her left hand. reminded me of jay in 不能说的秘密. haha.
and i discovered that a lot of pple go home at 9plus at night. missed 2 bus96 at the UCC stop. got pissed and walked out to this dubious looking bus stop which had 96 as well. and an empty 96 came along yay:). 96 is a loop bus anyway, so it went back into campus and out again towards clementi mrt. arrived home at 1130pm. home sweeeet home.
alright. i shall keep motivated and struggle with the term paper.
