heyaa.
finally.
the last book. the very last installment of the much loved series i've glued my four eyes faithfully to over the past *scratch* i can't remember how many years.. probably 6? did it start when i was in sec1? whoa come to think of it, j.k. rowling is really amazing. how did she spin all these tales out of her mind, and fill up altogether thousands of pages in these seven books?
yesterday morning till 3pm: finally finished the age of five triology's 2nd book. mind was swimming with auraya of the white, mirar/leiard, emerahl, the twins, huan, chaia, juran etc.
4-7pm; then from 8.30-11.10pm: grabbed half blood prince to read cos i realised i've forgotten most of the story. checked the year of publishing and realised half blood prince was published 2 years ago. alright, so that proved i wasn't senile.
things i'd forgotten:
1) Ministry of Magic changed the Minister for Magic. =.=". the horrible incompetent fudge. how could i have forgotten that?? probably cos the replacement was nobody much better anw. hahah. i still cannot pronounce/spell his last name. rufus scrimegeour or somewhat like that.
2) Ron's disastrous relationship with Lavender Brown.
"Won-won!" *shivers*
3) The amazing potions book with all the scribbled on spells and instructions which earned Harry all his top marks in potion, which also was property of the Half-blood prince a.k.a Severus Snape (hey i remembered the prince's true identity! just forgot the existence of the actual book itself, when the book was named after this particular namesake. 0_0!)
4) Malfoy was actually sent by Voldemort to kill Dumbledore.
5) The Horcruxes.
okay brain-space-very-minimal me actually forgot about the horcruxes! bah.
but it's okie:). i read it all over anw. realised there were some very funny bits. forgotten rowling's witty sense of humour. and i cried and cried at dumbledore's death agn. (just like how i'll lose control when i read order of the phoenix, the bit when sirius died so abruptly)
and was so happy to rcved gu's msg saying popular will be opened at 730am! even happier when my sis told me it's 7am! muaha.
tdy i went down at arnd 7.10am. gaped at the queue when i stepped into popular. @*@#$^&%^%#$. and they were playing this cd which had some problems. every song will go like this
"lalalla.. *skipskipskip* *repeats last few notes* lallala".. finally got my book at 8am. was so darned impatient.
8-3.40pm: CHIONG CHIONG CHIONG.
=).
yaay.
my lips are sealed. no spoilers ahead. no worries.
haii.
no more harrypotter books to look forward to.
