HEY.

allow me to gush over all these uber cute toys.

first photo is my niece's birthday cake. swensen's icecream cake. consecutive photos are the lucky birthday girl's presents. (only about 50% of the presents. others include dresses, puzzles, other toys) the sylvannian families set! first set is the kitchen, with the mother rabbit. the tap is mobile! the cabinet doors and oven door can be opened. there's an oven tray inside the oven. there's also salt and pepper on the small tray on the kitchen counter. there's even the water pipe below the tap, in the right cabinet. second is like the living room or drawing room. there's a magazine rack beside the comfy couches (the father rabbit is sitting on one) and an ashtray on the coffee table. third is the daughter rabbit's study room!! that set includes 2 pencils, a pencil holder, a pencil sharpener and a world globe. daughter rabbit's schoolbag is removable and the flap can be opened. fourth is the double bunk bed of the rabbit children. there blankets, pillows, mattresses. FYI, the children rabbits were tucked into bed by my niece. hee. fifth and sixth photos are the chair and table of the dining table set. the chair has a cushioned seat! even the table legs hv such detail. seventh and eighth photos are the pots and pans (and there's a baking glove too!) and food and cutlery for the sylvannian family. everything's complete! except for a bathroom;).

i remember pestering my mum to buy all these small sets of doll-like intricate furniture in the bedok ntuc where there was still this section which sold toys. and i only had a chance to buy when i scored well. (that was in primary school). i only have this piano set and another is a kitchen set. wells. this shows how well i did in school=P. i had a few hello kitty sets like the last photo here. anyway my niece is such a lucky lucky lucky lucky girl. my bro-in-law said my dajie bought all these fr herself to play=P. i've always wanted a dollhouse plus furniture too! one day, i will buy one fr my daughter too=).

can you understand my ecstasy over setting up all those furniture?

alright, it's okkay if you don't. i guess i tend to go all weird over certain softtoys and toys.

non non, i didn't hv a deprived childhood.

kids nowadays are just too darned luckky.

but i'm still a blessed girl=).
