HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEARR!!!

it's the year of the golden pig(:. hooray. oinkk.

i don't really make new year resolutions, cos it will be a waste of time anyway. hmm. but there's one thing i think i should do. change my starhub dialup to broadband! hai. my 56k modem speed is driving me nuts. i can be patient and tolerant under normal circumstances, but i guess, we should make some positive changes at times eh? how can a person be using a computer at such an ancient speed in this time and day? in these modern days of science and technology, man should be able to keep up with this rapid pace and not be left behind! especially us young adults.

the turnup rate of last friday's 4L reunion dinner was quite pathetic, but it was still a catchingup session. mic was telling us about her driving lessons and it was really funny. she was telling us about the blunders she made, how she did not notice lorries at the left (or right) side, how she almost drove her driving instructor crazy... hehe. don't worry gurl, i believe you can do it de! just be your usual zai self okie=). she mentioned her instructor said she can practise her driving skills by playing daytona.. wonder how true that is.. if that's the case, i will need alot more lessons if i take up driving, cos i never fail to crash my car if i play daytona. my car will swerve and suffer bumps, and once it even reversed, and then it will burn up in flames. hahaha. it's lack of practice. it never used to be so bad. heh. playing arcade games is a waste of money. hmm. pros of taking up driving lessons. 1) too much free time. 2) good to learn whilst i'm still young and with less reservations, responsiblity, burden. 3) COEs are dipping in prices! 4) it is a lifetime skill. cons: 1) my family does not have a car so a driving license won't be of much use. 2) i don't have the financial ability and stability to own a car. 3) i have quite a poor sense of direction and i don't know the roads at all. 4) if i get the liecense too early, by the time i can finally drive, i would've lost the confidence to be on the road. (there's a refresher course actually) mmm. conclusion. it's just not a necessity for me to get a driving license now. so dear friends, faster get your licenses! i'm waiting to go for joyrides with you all(:.

need i say more? haha. catching some bits of it on youtube now. i'll miss the first ten minutes everyday when i go to work, unless i catch the 6.40/45pm bus and chiong like mad for the mrt. =/.

anyway basically the plot of hana-kimi is quite dumb. how can a girl disguise herself as a guy and live in a guys' hostel without being found out?! (okkay so quan and meitian laoshi did know. poor da dong who didn't have a clue and had doubts about his sexual inclination!!) but it's alright. that's why fiction is so alluring:). so long it's not too overdramatised or ridiculous, and has the right tai cis, plus a few goodlookers and humour, it will be fab entertainment. not like the 9pm show showing on ch8 now. it's getting stupider and stupider.
