hieeee.
honestly, i miss going to school. the regularity, the clarity, the familiarity... everything that
should be in place, will
most likely be in place (the occasional ponning). the sureness of it all. it's strange how i miss the shackles of the rigid timetables we used to groan about. when we're in school, during every period, we learn and absorb something new. be it the lessons themselves, the new method added to the art of sleeping discreetly, the gossip we share, the new observations we make regarding our surroundings, the lame jokes and riddles, the silly games and drawings played and drawn under the nose of
certain teachers, the jokes made at the expense of some teachers, the pinpointing and vomiting sessions done in secret at certain creatures during a particular subject lesson... and the new friendships forged over the loooong breaks. the trauma of stress that tied the bands of friendships tighter. the sparks that flew due to the same stress. granted that anger sparks tested tempers and friendships, but at least, it was a
spark.
WELLLS.
although i've never really felt particularly fond about tj, i'm still missing it in some sort of a way. not missing the school grounds (esp that rocky lep table), not exactly missing too many teachers, not missing ccas (ohh it's PDPs)....... ahh yes. missing the people who filled the school up. the company of my dear friends, the familiar faces here and there, the eye-candies here and there... ...
!!! i most certainly do not miss the afternoon group PE sessions. nor lucky heights. hahaha. probably the swing at lucky heights, but not the slopes. but maybe it was that steep slope which made me appreciate the stable track, albeit it being red and glaring. but afternoon group PE was fun in yr1, thereby we'll pray and pine for the rain to fall whilst xu ls went on about xiaoshuos. and of course, how can we forget swimming PE? swimming was rather fun actually, but just one big hassle. rushing to bathe, rushing to wear shoes, rushing to pack, rushing to school, rushing to tap the card, rushing to the LT...
and the memorable lecturers. no names will be disclosed but those involved will understand.
yu pian beehoon on tuesdays and thursdays (now only available on tues). for me, the soup was addictive. but the passion fizzled out at some point in yr2.. when stress piled up, lunch became a highlight of the day, a period we'll wait eagerly with growling stomachs. so we'll head opposite whenever we have a chance to do so, or choose to eat cai fan with a variety of veg and meat during our long breaks..
enough reminiscing... maybe i'll try recalling primary school moments next time round...
jaaaa~
till next time.=)
